1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you provide
We collect personal information you provide when you register, use ListN, request support, or otherwise contact us.
- Account data: name, email; password (if using email/password).
- Voice & task content: audio you submit and the resulting transcripts, tasks, categories, notes, and related metadata you create.
- Payment data (if you purchase): handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Sensitive information: we do not intentionally process sensitive categories.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect device and usage data (e.g., IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, date/time, crash logs). This is primarily for security, reliability, and analytics.

- Device data (browser/OS information). We do not collect precise geolocation; approximate location may be inferred from IP for analytics/security.

Data from third parties
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and avatar for authentication. We do not import your contacts/friends, Gmail, Drive, or Calendar data.
2. How do we process your information?
- Operate and maintain accounts and authenticate users.
- Deliver AI-assisted task features (voice transcription, categorization, summaries).
- Provide support and respond to inquiries.
- Send service/transactional communications (policy updates, receipts).
- Fulfill/manage purchases, payments, and refunds (via Stripe).

3. When and with whom do we share personal information?
We share personal information with service providers under contracts requiring them to use data only on our instructions and to protect it:
- AI service provider: OpenAI (voice/text processing for features).
- Infrastructure & auth: Supabase (auth, database).
- Payments: Stripe.
- Analytics & performance: Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights.
- Hosting & build: Vercel.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
4. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
Yes. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, secure the Services, remember preferences, and measure usage. We do not run third-party advertising or sell/share your data for targeted ads. See Cookie Policy for controls.
5. Do we offer artificial-intelligence-based products?
Yes. ListN uses AI (via OpenAI) to transcribe voice input and assist with task organization and insights. Your input/output may be processed by our AI provider to deliver these features, consistent with this notice and our agreements.
6. How do we handle your social logins?
If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your name, email, and avatar to create/ authenticate your account. We do not receive “friends lists” or post on your behalf. Please review your Google account settings and their privacy policy for more details.
7. How long do we keep your information?
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with legal obligations. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data. If deletion is delayed (e.g., backups), we securely store and isolate until deletion.
8. How do we keep your information safe?
We use reasonable organizational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the data and our Services. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use ListN in secure environments and keep your credentials confidential.
9. Do we collect information from minors?
No. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market to children under 18 nor sell their personal information. If you believe a child provided information, contact support@uselistn.com.
10. What are your privacy rights?
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, and to withdraw consent where applicable. You can manage basic account data in your settings or email support@uselistn.com.
11. Controls for Do-Not-Track features
We currently do not respond to DNT signals because no standard exists. If a standard emerges, we will update this notice.
12. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?
Residents of certain U.S. states (e.g., CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MN, MT, NE, NH, NJ, OR, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA) may have additional rights, including to know/access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, and opt out of certain processing.
- Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
- Profiling: We do not engage in automated decisions producing legal/similarly significant effects.
- Categories we typically process: identifiers (A), limited customer records (B), commercial/payment metadata via Stripe (D), internet activity (F), approximate geolocation by IP (G), audio/transcript data you submit (H), and inferences to improve features (K). We do not collect protected characteristics (C), biometrics (E), professional history (I), or education records (J).
- How to exercise: email support@uselistn.com. We will verify requests and respond per applicable law; you may use an authorized agent as permitted.
- Appeals: If we decline a request, you may appeal by emailing support@uselistn.com.
13. AI features
Our AI features process your voice/task inputs to provide suggestions and organization. We transmit data securely to OpenAI for these features in line with this notice and our contracts.
14. Push notifications
If you opt in, we store your device’s notification token/endpoint to deliver push notifications. You can disable notifications in your device or app settings.
15. Do we make updates to this notice?
Yes. We may update this notice periodically. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. For material changes, we may provide additional notice.
